PhageDive is a phage-dedicated database (https://phagedive.dsmz.de) recently developed and hosted at the DSMZ (German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures GmbH). It has been designed as a catalogue of all available data on each virus, generally scattered across several sources. All data included in the database is linked to its original source, making it easily accessible to the scientific community. This database will help researchers find phages for specific questions of interest based on individual needs and make the corresponding data searchable and more visible. To date, PhageDive already contains phage data from three phage collections: the Laval collection, the NCTC and the DSMZ phage collection.
